This is the most fascinating hiking trail on the stonemasons’ network. The hiker has the opportunity to get to know the place where the history of mining and carving of the Thimiana stone, with its distinctive warm and earthy colors, has evolved through the years.

This particular hiking trail starts from the cove of Agia Ermioni. It starts uphill through fields of olive, mastic and turpentine trees, first on a paved and then on a dirt road. The route then goes down to Megas Limnionas through beautiful stone-built paths with signs of carving. It later goes up the hill of Profitis Ilias and Agios Dimitrios Ktistadon. It then passes by the modern quarry before returning to Agia Ermioni through a Thimiana drystone path, full of mastic fragrances and a sea view.
