The idea of creating a legal entity dealing with the trails of Chios took several effortful years of discussions in order to mature. This idea finally turned into reality in the spring of 2017, when 82 members founded the “Friends of Chios’ Trails” association.

The goals of the association include: preserving and promoting the trails and the adjacent monuments, protecting the environment, developing environmental-friendly forms of tourism and cultivating appropriate attitudes in the general public.

We are among the founding members of the association, ready to serve its goals with the greatest entusiasm.
